Austin Bradley
Austin is a multi-award-winning extreme and adventure sports photographer with work appearing in magazines and multiple exhibitions. He has always been an avid sportsman in multiple disciplines. Following a football ACL injury, he found his passion for photography and combined the two. Austin began his career shooting at motoring events before branching out into sports and has since captured action from the National League South (Vanarama), T20 Vitality Blast, Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, British Grand Prix, and the International Cliff Diving Championships. His work also includes imagery for multiple British Universities Ice Hockey Association BUIHA teams, including Oxford University, Cambridge University, and Southampton, as well as providing imagery for various adventure sports clubs at Oxford University, including the Oxford University Mountaineering Club, where he is both a member and photographer. Austin is currently based between the Midlands and Oxfordshire in the United Kingdom.
Recognized for his imagery, Austin was awarded the British Sports Photograph of the Year (People’s Choice, 2024) and was a World Sports Photography Awards Finalist in 2025. His experience in mountaineering and adventure sports allows him to navigate extreme environments, ensuring he captures the stories of the athletes he's collaborating with, wherever those stories may take him.
Austin is experienced and equipped to photograph in challenging terrains, including enviroments that demand water and crag climbing expertise. He is currently training to operate a rope access kit, ascender/descender, and Jumar systems to further enhance his capabilities and expand his shot potential when working on large wall faces.
